Lots of outlets - Nice capacity

Did you notice how many outlets this UPS has? Really nice thing is that 6 of the 12 are uninterruptible. The spacing of the outlets is such that two of the six could be large bulky adapters without covering up other outlets.
I really like the LCD display and the various display modes it has. With a laptop, a Laser printer, a router, two network switches, a cell phone power adapter, and a Vonage device plugged in and on all the time, the display reports I am using only about 18% of the capacity. This is important to know so that in case I do have a power failure, I can easily calculate how long I will have power. Another indicator on the display shows how charged (or discharged as the case may be) the batteries are. Again this is useful in case of a power outage to know how long I have power left.
Another point worth mention is that the plug for the UPS is a right angle plug which means it keeps a low profile to the wall when plugged in.
This UPS in my house is mostly just to keep my phone, network, and printer alive in case of a power outage.
This UPS has may other features that I do not need and therefore do not use and can not review.

Love it!

So far so good! I needed to replace my APC brand which did not support Mac with their latest software which was important for me as I am using this on a computer workstation. All the reviews prior to buying this one on Amazon convinced me that this brand was the way to go. I like the display window which shows actual volts coming in and determines how clean the electricity is. The line conditioner feature was key too.

UPS

This is the first UPS I have ever owned. While I don't experience power outages very often, I would like to make sure that my critical electronics (such as internet modem, VoIP adapter, etc.) are never offline. This Tripp-Lite UPS is a very economical solution. There is no setup involved - simply plug it in, and plug in your electronics into it. 6 ports provide backup power and surge protection, and 6 additional ports provide only surge protection. I have my modem, router, and VoIP adapter plugged into the backup side. The LCD display on the UPS allows you to see different variables, such as how much of the load is being used, etc. It also comes with a USB cable which can connect to your computer. From there, you can have it automatically shut down your computer safely when the power goes out. You can also download software from Tripp-Lite's website to monitor the status of the UPS and change settings. I'm very satisfied with this UPS.
