The Smart App Sinewave Series is designed for corporate networks and telecommunication equipment that require high-performance Pure Sinewave technology. Its unique design allows it to either be tower or rack (2U) mountable. The PR2200SWRM2U can support mission-critical equipment and applications, and also has Full AVR Buck/Boost technology that stabilizes AC energy to prevent power interruptions. Our Pure Sinewave series also incorporates microprocessor-based fully digital control, and includes PowerPanel Plus ¿ Smart Power Management software, which gives the user ultimate control and flexibility of power management options. The PR2200SWRM2U comes with 4 (four) 12V/9Ah batteries, which are maintenance-free and user-replaceable. All your network/DSL/modem connections are protected with a 1796 Joule rating, and the device is fully SNMP/HTTP manageable with the addition of an external card. It also is equipped with 2 serial communications ports that allow for the control of 2 PC¿s or servers. Repeat Purchase - Protecting Data Center

The CyberPower UPS's spec out great, for a fraction of the cost of similar APC or TrippLite models. Build quality is excellent - this thing weighs a ton! This particular unit requires a 20-amp plug (I had it - make sure you do). I bought one of these units in February to protect and power an NEC UX5000 phone/voicemail installation in my data center. I was impressed enough with the product that I bought a 2nd unit in April to power a new rackmount server. I also have a different CyperPower unit protecting my data switches and internet-modems. IT budgets are getting squeezed. This turned out to be a good way for me to replace/upgrade and save some money. Even better, I purchased on Amazon Mobile, with my smartphone, while riding the train home one evening -- free ground shipping included.

Great Product. Fantastic Price!

I was VERY skeptical about trusting my servers to anything but a big name in UPS, but with the economy where it is and a new CFO to contend with, I have to save where I can.
I bought one of these to try it out to replace an aging APC 1500VA and I'm not sorry I did. We had a prolonged power failure two days later and the unit held and the server attached stayed up and running at full tilt.
The software that comes with it is a bit on the basic side in appearance, but it does everything needed and gives more information than I've seen from other bigger names. It can do auto shutdown via USB or Serial and it worked flawlessly in many simulated failures.
So far I have no complaints and can recommend these to be used on mission critical servers. I have since bought another and will replace my other 2 APCs with this unit as they come due.

DOA

Dead on arrival. Instantly trips the circuit breaker on the circuit to which it is attached even when no load is plugged into it. Doesn't even turn on. I went so far as to upgrade my entire home's service panel (it was due anyway)-same thing on a new 20A dedicated circuit. Now I will have to deal with the company's repair/return service, which I read here is less than adequate because of the testing delay while I had my home upgraded (not their fault of course) made me miss the Amazon return window.
