Good features, works great.

I bought this for a small office. I have a modem, a 16 port switch, a router, and a print server plugged into it. There's also a printer plugged in to the surge protector side of it. It works very well and I'm sure it will provide us with enough battery backup for the occasional power outages that we have. To be honest, it's probably a little overkill based on what we have plugged in to it, but the lower VA UPS's were not much cheaper so we decided to go with this one.
I do like the LCD display, though we have ours sitting on top of a cabinet so we have to get on a stool to actually read it (if we ever need to). I love the fact that you can turn the beeping off too. Our other UPS's are APC and we can not turn the beeping off on those. In the one small office that this one is in, there are also three additional APC UPS's. So you can imagine the noise when the power goes out. In the future I expect that we'll switch all of our UPS's over to ones made by Tripp Lite.

Works great, has already saved the day ... or the data

I bought this to both condition the power and back it up for some sensitive video distribution panels and a streaming server. Within minutes of installing it, the commercial power lines experienced a power spike followed by a 6-7 minute brown out (low voltage). The equipment that was attached to this UPS did not have any issues (I had to replace the power supplies on several devices that were not plugged in to this UPS). I will be buying several more of these and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Nice features at a good price point

My computer has been without a UPS since the last one went belly up, but storm season is coming here in Texas and I decided it was time to reinvest. My computer power needs have changed over the years and I really just needed something to keep the computer, monitor, and modem active long enough to save my work and shut down. This TrippLite has some nice features that I would not have expected on a very affordable UPS. The LCD display is multifunctional, ECO outlets are switchable between ECO and regular operation (a nice feature since I'd like to turn on my lamp if the computer is off), and I really like the fact that the alarm can be switched off. Nothing more annoying than a UPS alarm screeching when the lights go out. Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase and it's a good value.
