The CyberPower Smart App Online OL1000RTXL2U rack/tower uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with LCD control panel and pure sine wave output safeguards mission-critical servers, data center and telecom equipment, VoIP and internetworking hardware that require seamless power correction. Its Double-Conversion topology is generator compatible and delivers consistent and clean AC power with zero transfer time, protecting connected equipment and preventing costly business interruptions. Auto-bypass insures connected equipment continues to operate seamlessly when an overload or internal fault is detected. Configurable GreenPower UPS ECO Mode improves UPS efficiency to 93% and reduces electrical and cooling costs. The LCD control panel provides 43 different settings to check status and customize the operating parameters for the OL1000RTXL2U, plus it can be removed and mounted separately from the UPS for ease of use regardless of where the UPS is installed. The UPS includes PowerPanel Business Edition software providing the user unsurpassed flexibility and control. An optional SNMP/HTTP Remote Management adapter (RMCARD302) supports remote management and control of the OL1000RTXL2U through a standard web browser. The OL1000RTXL2U unit has a capacity of 1000VA/900Watts (0.9 power factor) that can be configured for an output of 100V, 110V, 115V, 120V and 125V +/- 2%. It features eight (8) outlets with NEMA 5-15R receptacles and maintenance-free, hot swappable, user-replaceable batteries. This unit offers connectivity via one (1) HID USB, one (1) DB9 serial and one (1) emergency power off (EPO) port. The runtimes are expandable by adding a hot swappable, user replaceable BP36V60ART2U Extended Battery Module (EBM). A Three-Year Warranty ensures that this UPS has passed our highest quality standards in design, assembly, material or workmanship.

Works well with my generator

I have several Cyberpower UPS units (1500 KVA) but when I have a power failure and use my generator, the units will constantly flip between the line and the battery mode. I contacted the Cyberpower support and the engineer told me that these units look at the incoming line frequency and if there is more than 0.5 hertz change in 1 second, they will revert to the battery mode. My generator has an electronic governor and the frequency will change as the load changes.
The engineer suggested the OL1000RTX as it is designed to work while on the generator. And in fact it does work very well. The output is both voltage and frequency regulated. Now I use the OL1000RTX as the front end to my other UPS units. Problem solved. Good product and good customer support!!!

Great Double Conversion UPS. Fantastic Price.

If you are looking for a double conversion UPS that does the job without breaking the bank this unit is for you.
All the controls can be accessed without connecting to a computer or network. I am using this ups without being conneted
to any computer. This unit is very big. It is also very heavy. This ups is built like a tank. It is rack mountable or you
can set it up as a tower with the tower stand provided. That is a very nice gesture from cyberpower because most manufactures
tower stands are optional at a price of $75-$120.00. With this unit they are free which is a big deal.
The OL1000RTXL2U has a cooling fan that is always on. The fan is as loud as an hunter whole room air purifier on medium or the number 2 setting.
Which means the fan is pushing a good volume of air. Will the fan bother most people? It depends where you put it. But I would say no. This ups
has no problem syncing to a generator. Because of the fan this ups never gets hot with 24/7 operation. According to the manual it is required to do
cleaning of filters or inflow screens every so often. The unit has performed flawlessly for 4 months now. It is a great unit.
