might need some help moving it...
By A. Barker
This is one HEAVY UPS. Make no mistake, this is not really intended for home use. It is incredibly user friendly, except the weight. The software is great! The only real downside is when the unit looses power, the fans that kick on are more than a little noisy... but they only come turn on when it looses power, so that's a pretty small downside... Oh, and only 4 of the outlets are back-up outlets. The other 4 are surge protected only. All in all, the unit is great. And [...] got it to me FAST! I've ordered from them before, and will definitely do so again

Watch out with the special plug
By partially incoherent
This uses a special 30A plug with 4 legs that you won't be able to use with the standard power outlet (20A, 15A). The description never says so. We needed to rearrange and replace our electrical outlet to be able to use this. Also you really can't lift this by yourself since it is incredibly heavy. However, it indeed provides a lot of juice.

Bought it, can't return it, have to hire an electrician...
By L. M. Morrison
I have a Cyberpower system that was custom built which they say requires a UPS of 1750W, and then there is the monitor and the cable modem and wireless router and I figured this one would do the trick and cover it all. The system which was built cost @ $6,000 and I really want to protect it. I am not an electrician, and figured worse case I would need to make sure the outlet was changed to a 20A and the electric box circuit breaker upgraded which is easy. But WTH? This is a circle plug and I have never in my life seen one of these before... and now in order to use this UPS I am going to have to hire an electrician to come out and find out if we can even have a 30A circuit in the box... that is going to cost a couple hundred bucks. And, you can't return this UPS because it is considered hazardous - but it went through the mail to get here so what sense does that make? And yes, the box says two person lift for a reason. One person cannot lift it. I am disappointed in myself for thinking this would be simple. I am disappointed in CyberPower for not being able to return this item. And my 6,000 dollar system is still not protected with a UPS.
